Join us (and bring a friend) on March 13 at 11: 00 am for our 2022 premier at Cinema Lab Theatres at The Village at SOPAC. We will celebrate the centennial of the birth of Italian director Pier Paolo Pasolini by showing a double feature 1962 film Mamma Roma and 1968 Teorema.

The film will be introduced by Francesca Degliuli Professor of Italian language and culture.

Francesca Degiuli is an Associate Professor of Sociology at Fairleigh Dickinson University. Her research interests lie at the intersection of gender, culture, political economy, aging and immigration. Specifically, she is interested in investigating the complex interactions between political economy and culture in shaping the practices of everyday life. She is also a cinephile (probably because she was born and raised in Torino, Italy, a city with a long history of filmmaking dating back to the Lumière brothers.)
